Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale explain how we do business at BritMed (BritDent). By placing an order through our website britdent.com you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
- Placing an Order
Once you place an order with us, you’ll receive an order confirmation. This confirms we’ve received your request, but the order is only final once we’ve reviewed and accepted it. We may reject or cancel orders at our discretion (for example, if an item is out of stock or pricing was incorrect).
- Prices & Payment
- All prices are listed in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time before your order is confirmed.
- Full payment must be made at the time of order unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
- Late or failed payments may result in your order being cancelled or delayed.
- Delivery
- We aim to dispatch all orders promptly, and you’ll be notified of estimated delivery times.
- Delivery dates are estimates only. While we do our best, we can’t guarantee delivery on a specific day.
- Once the order has been handed over to the courier, it becomes your responsibility.
- If there are any issues with your delivery, please let us know within 3 working days of receiving your order.
- Returns & Cancellations
- If you’d like to cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have already been dispatched may not be cancelled.
- Returns are accepted for unopened, unused goods within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in original condition.
- You’ll need to contact us first to get return authorisation. Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.
- Certain items (like sterile goods or made-to-order products) are non-returnable for hygiene or regulatory reasons.
- Return postage is your responsibility unless the item was faulty or sent in error.
- A restocking fee may apply.
- Faulty or Damaged Goods
- Please inspect your order on arrival.
- If anything is missing, damaged or faulty, let us know within 3 working days of delivery.
- We may ask for photos or for the goods to be returned for inspection before issuing a replacement or refund.
- Product Information & Use
- While we take care to provide accurate product descriptions, images and specifications, they may vary slightly from the actual product.
- All products should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and relevant regulations.
- You’re responsible for ensuring any products you order are suitable for your intended use.
- Ownership & Risk
- Ownership of the goods passes to you once we receive full payment.
- Risk (such as damage or loss in transit) passes to you when the goods are delivered.
- Liability
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (e.g. business interruption, loss of income) arising from your use of our products or services.
- Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods you purchased from us.
- Force Majeure
We won’t be held responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our control — like strikes, delivery disruptions, pandemics, natural disasters, or supply shortages.
- Privacy
Your personal data is handled in line with our [Privacy Policy]. By placing an order, you agree to our use of your information for processing and delivering your purchase.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the UK courts.
